Explore Your Neighborhood!

Tucked inside the Outer Sunset District, this mostly residential area enjoys convenient access to outdoor recreation and family-friendly play areas like McCoppin Square, Stern Grove, and Pine Lake Park, and an easy 5-minute bike ride to Ocean Beach.
Public transportation to the Parkside includes the L streetcar along Taraval Street and the 28 bus line along 19th Avenue. Parking in the district is relatively easy compared to other parts of the city. For Silicon Valley commuters, 19th Avenue leads straight to Highway 280 and the South Bay.
The commercial corridor along Taraval Street is rapidly revitalizing with new restaurants, clothing boutiques and other retailers slated to open in 2012.
