Work has begun on the mural that’s going to be painted on the side of Footprint. The design of the mural, which was decided by community vote, will be done in partnership with Footprint, artist Jeff Canham and San Franisco’s Office of Economic and Workforce Development (OEWD.)
November update: as of the last POPS Mini-Grant Committee meeting, at the Rolling Out Cafe, some possible dates for the possible Mural Unveiling ceremony have been discussed. The committee is looking at sometime after the Thanks Giving Holiday. Now that the Mural is completely finished, it’s the event is now in the planning and funding stage. We’ll keep the neighborhood informed on future updates.
