This year the Movies at McCoppin outdoor movie festival was a great success! Each Friday in October brought many Parkside neighbors to McCoppin park. There were plenty of fun things to do, and of course, new movie snacks to devour, while watching the great line up of family-friendly films.
We greatly appreciated the food & beverages from local merchants like El Cafe, Eagle Pizzeria, The Rolling Out Cafe, Sweet Passion Bakery, Lou’s Cafe, and Underdog Too Taco shop (soon to be opening on Taraval street)
Our president Albert Chow and all of his volunteers, gave it their all.. not only at putting on the event, but clowning around with some of the coolest Cos-Play actors, like members of the 501st Stormtrooper regiment.
We also had some fantastic activities taking place prior to the movie presentation like Jonas & Jenifer from NASA who were fascinating to talk with. There was also some really neat face painting for the Coco movie night.

And we had some great turnout from POPS Members as volunteers, to help make the entire season of Movies at McCoppin a memorable one. See you next year.. at the movies!
